Therapy and Intuitive Eating Coaching for Disordered Eating

Are you ready to recover your life? Do you struggle with repetitive and unhelpful thoughts that have a negative impact on your life? Do you want to reconnect with your intuition and realign with your inner calm? You really can live a life that you love, and feel so content and connected with your body and mind. I promise! The world needs the best version of you, so let’s work together to get you back to that.

If you need help overcoming disordered eating, I can help – whether that’s improving your self-image, untangling yourself from diet culture or recovering from a diagnosed eating disorder. I help my clients understand that the symptoms of disordered eating are never really about food or the body, but instead they are often about deeper, painful experiences that need some care and attention. The antidote to disordered eating is an abundant, fulfilling life. I can help you uncover your own personal path to achieve this. It’s not easy, but we can do it.

Depending on the challenges that you would like to overcome, I will create an individualized approach to help you navigate the difficult times that you are facing. I combine many years of experience in mental health with intuitive eating coaching to support my clients in overcoming disordered eating and other challenges that surface along with that.

Therapy for Life’s Challenges

In addition to disordered eating treatment, I also have many years of experience helping people cope with symptoms of anxiety and depression.  Through the application of evidenced-based therapy modalities, I can support you to develop coping strategies, improve self-awareness and make changes that will enable you to reduce symptoms and achieve a higher quality of life.

I see therapy as an opportunity to increase your self-awareness, understand the impact of the challenges that you’ve experienced throughout your lifetime, and figure out how to heal and cope with all that life throws at you.

Within my practice I work from a trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, client-centred framework. My work is aligned with the principles of Health at Every Size (HAES) and have training in the following types of therapy and coaching:

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

  • Dialectical Behavioural Therapy

  • Solution-Focused Therapy

  • Psychodynamic Therapy

  • Intuitive Eating Coaching

  • Attachment Theory

Depending on the challenges that you would like to overcome, I will create an individualized approach to help you navigate the difficult times that you are facing. I combine over 13 years of experience in mental health with intuitive eating coaching to support my clients in overcoming disordered eating and other challenges that surface along with that.
